Five Step Filtration

The Optimum Health Water Pruifier offers a five stage process. The 5 Stage Special Blend Cartridge (shown above) filters and then re-filters the water to deliver the healthiest possible results.

1. Micron Sediment Pre-Filter
Water enters the filter at stage one where the removal of impurities such as dirt, rust, algae, hair, leaves, fibres, mud, slime and other suspended contaminants take place.

2. Patented Ion-Exchange Resin
Stage two of the filtering process then actively reduces heavy metals such as aluminium, copper, lead, mercury and associated compounds.

3. Micron Membrane
Water is then passed through stage three where it is re-filtered before it enters the carbon element chamber of the filter.

4. Patented High Quality Activated Carbon

Stage four, the carbon element of the filter, then effectively eliminates bad tastes and odours by reducing chemicals such as chlorine, chloramines, choroform ethelbenzene and associated impurities.

5. Micron Membrane Final Filter
Stage five is the final and vitally important filtering process where water is refiltered once again through a five micron membrane before being dispersed.

Each public water supply is different. This is why we strongly recommend that the cartridge is designed to effectively clean water for up to six months. After this time, the effectiveness of the cartridge may deteriorate as the cartridge fills up with contaminants and bacteria. When replacement of the cartridge is due, it is important that only a genuine Optimum Health Water Purifier Cartridge is used.
